of the Indian Institute of Science, the huge trees, the greenery, the 'n' parallel roads, the short cuts, the chirping birds, the big bee hives, the departments, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Aerospace, Astrophysics, Atmospheric and Oceanic Studies, the all time busy tea board, the B Mess, Kabini, Nesara, and the people around..

There are many other such things which can be listed and described about this institute. 

It is "the" place if you want to get into research..not the market research but the one that academicians do around the world...research that ultimately results into papers published in the journals of world fame..

Had it not been a PGDM from Nagpur, and a close friend in IISc, I would have never got an opportunity of pursuing a research from here..

The Department of Management Studies, looks old and messy...but it holds a decades old history of making successful managers running businesses around the globe..

This world is far away from the glitter and glamour of the city...when you are here, it is a different world altogether..there is an ambition for all of us studying or re-searching here in the campus...and the campus seems to support us in its own serene way..
